How to turn off new email alert notifications

Outlook's new email notification is turned on by default; so, you'll see a new email alert for each new inbox message.

   1.     Click on the "File" tab and select "Options...".

   2.     Click on the "Mail" section.

   3.     Scroll to the "Message Arrival" section. You can specify which notification options to disable by unchecking them.

   4.     Click on the "OK" button.

To get CCHS Email inside the building (on our network)

- log on to your laptop or desktop computer

- double-click Microsoft Outlook to open your email

To get CCHS Email from outside the building (can also be used inside, but Outlook is easier)

- open a browser (Chrome is best)

- type in address bar: carmelhs.com

- type in username: jhilliard

- type in password: whatever your network password is

NOTE:  Once you surf to carmelhs.com, the instructions are on the screen.

Edline

You will receive your Edline Activation Codes on Tuesday

Here are the instructions for activating your account:

-       Type www.edline.net in the address bar of your web browser

-       A “grey rectangle” will show up on the screen

-       In the lower left corner click on the words “Click here” in red underneath Activate an Account

-       Enter in the activation code given to you for your name                                     (ex. FDXY-VPPM-MTRF)  (enter the dashes)

-       Click ENTER

-       Make sure your name appears correctly, if it does not, stop and send an email to edline@carmelhs.org

-       Click on “Activate this Code”

-       Read the entire PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS

-       Click on “I Agree”

-       Click on “New Account”

-       Pick a UNIQUE Screen name (combine words and numbers)

-       Type in a password and repeat

-       Click “Continue”

-       Type in a valid e-mail address (you will not receive SPAM from this)

-       Under Email Notice Preferences, select the radio button next to “Notify me of all new reports that are posted to edline.

-       Proceed to Security Question section

-       Click on the drop down arrow to the right of the <List Of Suggested Questions>, then pick an appropriate question

-       Type the answer (not case sensitive)

-       Click on “Update”

-       View any User Guides you would like, then click DONE in upper right corner of the window

-       You will now see your CCHS Edline Home Page
